Dr Waddah S. Ghanem Al Hashmi graduated from the University of Wales College Cardiff, School of Engineering, with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Environmental Engineering.
Currently he is the Senior Director for Sustainability, Operational and Business Excellence for the ENOC Group. He has previously held the position of Executive Director of EHSSQ & Corporate Affairs at the ENOC Group. In his capacity, Waddah is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of best practices and standards for EHS Assurance, Business Excellence & Quality, Sustainability including sustainability reporting, Energy and Resource management and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects etc. He has had good experience previously with developing the systems and strategies for the Security and Risk Management functions as well as the Wellness and Social Affairs and advocated the continued improvement of the company’s EHSSQ culture through his leadership of the company’s EHSSQ regional team. Waddah also oversaw in the past, the Group’s Legal Affairs as well as the development and implementation of the ENOC Group Communication Strategy to support commercial growth and strategic positioning. These functions have now be repositioned in a newly restructured organisation after being developed and matured.

Andras Peller is the Director and Co-founder of Swiss Fire Protection Research and Development AG. Andras studied as an Economist at the Budapest Business School and built up an IT company in the Entertainment Industry which he was managing for more than 10 years.
As a seasoned and successful leader, he learned to manage a middle-sized company effectively in a highly competitive international market. Being enthusiast for technological advancements and for Research and Development, Andras accepted a partner role in an international management consultancy firm, where he became the leader of the IP management branch of the company. Currently he is supervising this group of R&D projects, of which the most interesting are on the field of fire-fighting and disaster management. Andras became an expert in foam firefighting security technologies, he has a proven track record of IP portfolio management and a solid understanding of patent-application processes from both a legal and technical/scientific standpoint. Current projects include developing new technologies for industrial firefighting and emergency systems.
